Behaviorworx to Offer "Behaving Badly Laugh & Learn Tour"
Program Offers Help to Parents and Professionals Dealing with Child Behavior Issues

Early intervention professionals or parents with a young child experiencing behavior issues alike will benefit from a day-long presentation, “Behaving Badly: The Laugh & Learn Tour.”

Offered by BehaviorWorx of Southwestern PA, the in-person training program will be offered from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday,

August 6, 2021 in Swimmer Hall on the Penn State-Fayette campus, Uniontown, PA.

The program will be presented by Kristan Weisdack, founder and CEO of BehaviorWorx of Southwestern Pa., which offers behavior training and consultation to parents, caregivers, educators and other providers

Weisdack, MEd, is a licensed behavior specialist, certified infant massage instructor and certified mental health integrative medicine provider. She has personal and professional experience working with children with special needs and is passionate about helping parents and professionals understand the root causes of behavior with a holistic approach, having training in behavior analysis, infant massage and nutrition.

“The majority of the clients I have worked with have been families with children who have ongoing behavioral issues in spite of receiving services, sometimes for many years,” Weisdack said. “They are frustrated and want solutions.” Weisdack said the August 6 program is in response to numerous requests for in-depth behavior training that provides simple behavior interventions and holistic behavior approaches.

“It's finally time for in-person training again,” said Weisdack. “This event is not your ordinary training! It's lively, it's engaging and very entertaining! Come to laugh, come to learn.

“We want participants to walk away with a sense of empowerment to change behavior using the simplest tools and techniques while gaining new resources for continued learning!”

The program offers seven (6) EI CEUs, cost is $40 per person and lunch will be provided. For more information contact Kristan Weisdack at behaviorworxpa@gmail.com. Register
