St. Clair Hospital Opens Its First-Ever Urgent Care

St. Clair Urgent Care began seeing patients in January when it opened its doors for the first time at St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center Village Square, 2000 Oxford Drive, Bethel Park. Located on the ground level of the Outpatient Center, St. Clair Urgent Care is staffed by board-certified physicians, Rachel L. Schroer, D.O., Matthew S. Cooper, D.O., and Ediri A. Montoya, M.D.; registered nurses; radiology technicians; and patient registrars. St. Clair Urgent Care is designed to treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but not serious enough to warrant a trip to St. Clair Hospital's Emergency Room. Typical patients at Urgent Care will be seeking treatment for sprains; strains; lacerations; fractures (which can be splinted on-site); colds and flu; sinus and ear infections; sore throats; and urinary tract infections. St. Clair Urgent Care also will offer a lab, including urine analysis and rapid strep testing; x-rays on site; flu vaccinations; and sports physicals.

The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on major holidays) seven days a week, 365 days a year. No appointments necessary. The telephone number at St. Clair Urgent Care is (412) 942.8800.
